Zerg
The insectoid Zerg possess entirely organic units and structures, but are accordingly weaker, relying on sheer numbers and speed to overwhelm enemies. The Zerg augment their forces through evolution. They will be the remodels and coding of the Zombies
Terran
The Terran are based on Humanity, providing units that are versatile and flexible. The Terrans have access to a range of more ballistic military technologies and machinery, They will be the surviors re-modeled, new guns etc.

This game will be a Half-Life 2 DeathMatch Engine. And will consist of 2 teams, Terran and Zerg. You will have the option to play as both and to play the diffrent classes they hold

Due to many great ideas from fans we have decided to wait till the Left 4 Dead SourceSDK is released and begin work on that. This does not mean we will not be making maps or models at this time, We will still continue to make maps without texturing them and models (textured). I will be gone for about 5 days due to a trip to Queensland!!!!! wooo. But the others will hopefully continue on from there. I will be looking for a co-developer from the team but i havent decided yet.

I am still not completely sure we will make it L4D Engine and thats why i want you fans to vote for me. Im going away as i stated before so i will leave this poll till i come back and decide from the votes. You Can Only Vote once and ur choices are either, Half Life 2 Deathmatch or Left 4 Dead.

I'd prefer protoss over zerg, but thats probably cause 'toss is my favourite. :D

Whoops, sorry about my last comment that made it seem that we were going to L4D engine for sure.

I am currently working on a reconstruction of a simple two player Starcraft map at the moment. It's pretty far from done, so thats all I'm going to say for now.

Oh and I vote for Left 4 Dead engine.

As i said earlier i am not entirely sure i want to go with the L4D engine, i think it would be a little better if it were mainly humans playing both side and having a RTS feel to it aswell like Natural Selection has

The reason we are going to the L4D engine is because it can handle lots of NPCs at once, which we plan to have in Starcraft:Source. Additionally, by the time the mod is released, the Half-Life 2/Episode 2 engines would have become somewhat outdated.

Oh and by the way, if you are wondering who the hell I am, this is G. I don't even have Left 4 Dead -.-

It may be able to handle LOTS of npc's as you say, but it comes with a auto population system that will be a bitch to remove from the code. Not to mention all you idle zombie code (the code that makes the zombies fight and lean up against walls etc) All of this will need to be edited.
