Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. Begun, a new conflict has.
This is the Queen's flagship for the Hapan Consortium.
The original model was done by TheFarseer. It has new custom UVs and textures for it's use here in Interregnum.

Will it be purchasable from the minor faction?
We're still debating some of our plans for it actually. :) But it will be in the next update.

I so hope you guys can eventually do a Hapan, Mandolarian and Hutt full factions that'll be so cool :)
Mandalorians practically already have a full faction. I played in dev mode and they have lots of ships that are exclusive to them only.
Mandos do pretty well with frigates. Their problem is the larger ships. Only three capitalships and absolutely nothing titan sized.
I'm sure with the talent you guys have the possibly for some fan designs for the Mandolarians to fill the roster could be a possibility down the line in the future.
We try really hard to avoid entirely fanon designs.
Sometimes we have a name and stats of a ship, but no art, and have to do our best to assign a model like the New Republic Proficient. Others we have a picture, but no name or stats, like the Champion.
Arguably the Mandalorian Protector Gunship is the most made up unit in the mod, but that is basically us taking the Empire at War Crusader, which is basically a light escort and antifigher ship, and splitting it into two ships as those roles are separate in Sins.
I do not believe there is any unit in the mod that does not have at least a shred of basis in Star Wars lore.
A full Hapes faction is pretty much out of the question. The next update will give the mod practically every canon Hapan ship in Star Wars lore, and that's still only this, two frigates/cruisers, and some star fighters. Worse Hapes was historically very isolationist, only interacting with the wider galaxy after Episode VI, so we can't just give them older/common ships to fill out their roster.
They are a very unique and distinct "minor faction" in the Star Wars universe, but still definitely a minor faction.
That's understandable. At lease as a minor faction we can get access to some of their ships. :)
