Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. Description
This is a new mesh brought in courtesy of the EaW: Remake mod. Additional turret work by Elratie.
It has all-new custom UVs and textures for Interregnum.

What role will this have? It's apparently around the size of a Lancer and is fairly well armed?
from what I have seen in other mods it works as a anti medium ship, as it has heavy guns for its size, like a pocket cruiser
I wonder if that is some sort of missile launcher. The Vigil seems tad small to carry strikecraft...

I can only imagine this is either going to the neutrals or perhaps something to further diversify the warlords
Probably going to replace the Carrack for Warlords, it is smaller but it is heavily armed for its size.
This would make sense as Warlords rely on cheaper, smaller vessels, whereas the Empire prefers large and frightening designs...
It looks kind of like the Republic's Rothana destroyer from SOGE, but that was roughly the size of an Acclimator and loaded with ion cannons
The Vigil is meant to be even smaller, with the size of a corvette or a very light frigate.
