Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. Begun, a new conflict has.
This is the new Procusator class mesh and textures. The original base model was provided courtesy of Jereonimo and the EaW:Remake mod. Additional turret work by Elratie.
The Procusator class is smaller than and ISD at 1200 metres in length. It will be serving as a capitalship.
*Imperial March Intensifies*
I'm hoping Thrawn will get his Rebels texture for his Captial Ship to help it stand out and add a bit more flare to the Empire.
Sins is sadly not very efficient when it comes to adding texture variants. They will basically use the same amount of RAM as an entirely new ship. We would rather use that memory for entirely new units like this one. :)
A bit of a shame but completely worth it.

Probaly gonna replace a warlord cap, victory II is likely.
The Procursator really is becoming popular, I'm seeing it everywhere now, but I think it fits really well into the Imperial side during interregnum because apparently it was designed as a barebones, cheaper, easy to mass-produce star destroyer. Great idea guys!
Yup, a more economical Star Destroyer optimized for space warfare at the expense of stuff like starfighters and ground troops. The Empire is definitely building larger orders of these right now.
Well i for one always liked it's design.
It's main gun placement makes a lot more sense than the ISD since it can fire them frontally and both sides while an ISD can only use all of them at same time frontally and just half of them against flanking enemies.
ISDs are also pretty much overkill against most capital ships from other shipyards and since the procursator is an anti capital capital ship it can pretty beat everything which already an ISD can beat and those who can overwhelm it (battleships and star dreadnoughts) will likely be able to beat the ISD too.
You also have various support ships like gladiators, ton falks, gozantis, lancers, carracks and so on to cover the weaknesses of the procursator too.
But well the ISD obviously wins in intimidation and terror was one of the main tools of the Imperium.
A mini ISD? I like it already.
Imma guessing with those big main guns, it's probably good at focusing its firepower at one poor sap but struggles with hoards...?
The question remains, which capital ship is it replacing? and for which imperial faction?
Glad to see the Empire get some more love. I don't usually play them as most of their ships (at least their big ships) look so alike, that the faction doesn't end up having as much character as the others. I know that's what you will get with the Empire since their big stuff is basically ISD's, but my feelings are still the same, regardless of whatever mod they're in. That's why when I do play them, I play as the Warlords.
Well, oppressive fascist dictatorships rarely encourage individuality in any form. :) But I hope you mean that having a new base hull is a step in the right direction for you, even if it is still quite similar to other Triangular warships.
Yes that is what I mean. And the fascist thing with no individuality is what I was trying to describe as no character but I know that its what you would expect from such a government. The models are great, but yes, a new looking triangle is a nice change that will be nice to use as its a bit different in appearance compared to the regular Imperial style that is there norm. Its hard trying to say that their ships all look the same, but that I know its how they're supposed look, while at the same time, trying not to sound confusing to others. Its a weird kind of thing to put into words.
Anyway, its a nice ship.
