Rebellion aims to create a realistic, multi level strategic war simulation based on the second world war, and combine it with the original trilogys feeling. You'll be managing vast parts of the Galactic Empire, and eliminate it's many adversaries, while keeping order and piece by supressing pirates and rebels, or you'll be fighting a war of attrition by leading the Alliance to Restore the Republic in a guerilla war against tyranny, spreading rebellion and hope across the galaxy.

I mean, he doesn't look off, but I think Gerard Butler is much closer. Plus Kanan is kind of a combination of Rahm Kota and Kyle Katarn anyways :)
I love Karl Urban and Tom Hardy but I honestly can't see them as Kyle Katarn. I would definitely lean towards Johnathan Frakes portraying him.
Is this a casting call for an older Kyle Katarn? Because Jason Court will always be THE Kyle Katarn.
Fairly sure it's for both his younger shaven merc years and bearded Jedi Knight years, hence a younger and older picture side-by-side for all the actor.
Well, for one Jason Court isn't a great actor. His performance is weak at best, but to be fair, he doesn't even try. He's also not the 'original' Kyle Katarn, he is:

I've always imagined Katarn to be this cynical mercenary man with a hidden optimistic, kind of childish side.
I personally am a fan of Dark Forces and Jedi Outcast, but I've never liked Jedi Knight. Plus the cheesy live actor cutscenes of the 90s did not age well imho.
Btw this is about making a new hero icon for Kyle.
