Rebellion aims to create a realistic, multi level strategic war simulation based on the second world war, and combine it with the original trilogys feeling. You'll be managing vast parts of the Galactic Empire, and eliminate it's many adversaries, while keeping order and piece by supressing pirates and rebels, or you'll be fighting a war of attrition by leading the Alliance to Restore the Republic in a guerilla war against tyranny, spreading rebellion and hope across the galaxy.
I have redesigned the ATR and ETR transports... again. The ATR is the perfect heavy transport for boarding actions in space, while the ETR is a heavily armed orbital dropship designed to escort other dropships and provide aerial cover after delivering an infantry platoon to the battlefield.
And since I've always disliked the Lancet in its original form (but I love the concept of aerial artillery units like the Spectre gunship) I've pretty much incorporated its interesting parts into the ETRs butt, which also has sideways facing heavy laser cannons built into it's sides under its wings to pound the enemy units on the ground.
Beautiful. Will these craft be slow and not very maneuverable?
That's relative. They're similar to the Sentinel in speed and maneuverability.
