A new mod was released for Galactic Civilizations 2, which is one of the best turn based strategy games to come out lately.The MOD is called Star Trek Vs. Star Wars. It features all the major races and starships from the Star Trek series and the Star Wars movies. If you have ever wondered who would control the Galaxy with a war of Star Trek and Star Wars races then this is the mod for you. Please note: you need the Twilight Arnor expansion pack to play this mod.To install it, just unzip everything to the following directory:C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Galactic Civilizations II - Ultimate Edition\Twilight\Mods\Default

The 14th expansion pack for the Star Trek Vs. Star Wars mod has been released. This contains new Techs, new Galactic Achievements, new Invasion Tactics, new Planetary Improvements, and some minor fixes.
There are some changes included with this expansion pack such as The United Federation of Planets building is now a Galactic Achivevement so now any race can build it and whoever builds it first gets the benefits. Also the life support modules were giving too much range so I cut the range benefits down to about half. The choice to align with good or evil is now more important because I added good only and evil only techs for all races.
Also I know that a lot of people want to see the minor races play a more important role in the game, so I gave them a boost. I boosted thier production abilities by about 100%. Hopefully this will help them be a bigger threat in the game.

unable to get mod is there a link for it the torrent dosent work btw due to 1 seeder
running GC2 UE on win7-64. Downloaded from torrent, mod starts, nice movies, won't allow race pick, and then crashes. Other mods work, such a shame.

Does this mod work or no? I was going to download but then I saw some comments about there being a CTD after 50 turns due to a memory leak.
