A new mod was released for Galactic Civilizations 2, which is one of the best turn based strategy games to come out lately. The MOD is called Star Trek Vs. Star Wars. It features all the major races and starships from the Star Trek series and the Star Wars movies. If you have ever wondered who would control the Galaxy with a war of Star Trek and Star Wars races then this is the mod for you. Please note: you need the Twilight Arnor expansion pack to play this mod. To install it, just unzip everything to the following directory: C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Galactic Civilizations II - Ultimate Edition\Twilight\Mods\Default

FYI, on Nov. 6th 2009 I uploaded a new version of expansion pack 14 with new Klingon images.
2nd edition of the pack#14? so i will re-download it then! nice!
As per previously discussed continual crashes, the application of the 1-9 titanium patch stabilized the whole game! woohoo!
Another small suggestion I will make: homeworlds. Dont it make you tickle that the center of a major civilization is one of the lowest grade planet? should be by default at least 16, no?
For the deployment, use the torrent channels, not only is it the fastest and cheapest, but it will give you huge exposure as anyone who is into computer/gaming/modding etc etc is part of that community; and the place I referred to you is the main core of that community.
Anywhoo, as per mods goes:
I've been in the gaming field for close to 20 years (yickes) both as a player/modder and also professionally, seen them all rise (or fall); and you sir remind me of a very famous modder called Aircraftkiller (CnC Renegade): same Very good quality craftsmanship and passion behind the work, which reflect in the results. Superbob17, you will go far!

Oups! what happenned? The Federation no longer exist?! it is in the main display, but when selected default to Terran alliance

One reason why you might be having this problem is sometimes the computer creates a Raceconfig file in the My Games directory that will overwrite any other Raceconfig file and therefore mess up a race. So Find where those files are and just delete them. Uusually they are in:
C:\My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor

One of the ships in the Breen ship set for example. Before patch 9 or 10 (I think?) any game with the Breen would crash "oom" by turn 100, and continue to crash on loading the auto save. Games without the breen would play through NP.
