Looks like a crossover between a neghvar, vorcha and a ktinga.

The largest Klingon battle cruisers in STO got a little more massive bridge section and the neck, like a Negh'Var.

that's nice for them :D

While a lot of the STO designs are good, we wanted to try and go for a modernized, hugely powerful design that had echoes of older designs like the K'tinga. To do this we took the general shape of the K'tinga then thought about designs that were "current" in the DS9 era and tried to reconcile the two.

Was a genuinely rewarding experience to watch it take shape. Wiley sketched it while screen sharing to the devs over skype, while we offered advice and suggestions.

I understand that :) Thought Klingons represents power, and Negh'Var is, if I am not mistaken, the largest ship (or among them) that appeared in TV series'. Which really looked tough. And as Titans are the largest for sure, the toughness should be there at the maximum, along with the shape it has now.

Love that it looks more like the K'tinga than the Negh'var. Now if only the Romulans could have a D'Deridex style titan instead of that Reman pos.

It was designed by a human clone, made by Remans, temporarily used by Romulans, and was finally commandeered by the human clone.

None of that changes the fact that it's hideous and has no place in the Romulan fleet.

Is this going to be a completely new titan for the Klingons or will it just be a new skin for the crappy Shockwave?

It is an amazing design cant wait to see it when its finished

ok maybe cappy was a poor choice of words, I was in a bit of a rush and I was in the middle of a thought lol. I know how to use it just fine it's not hard to use. What I meant was it's boring, all it does is fly into a large/huge fleet and blow up where is the fun in that? it makes things a little to easy IMO. I mostly play against the AI, I'm not into playing online, and since the AI never blows it up it isn't fun. I would like to see more out of a Klingon Titan is all.

Look dude you are using right, however you are not getting the point of the old titan. It is meant to strike fear into players hearts. I had a full fleet once and my buddy dropped in his Shockwave ship. I ran for a system but in the end I was caught between a Rock and a hard place and a momment of indecision lost me two Lvl 7 capital ships, 2 Lvl 1 Sovereigns, 30 Lakota Excelsiors, 20 Mirandas, 10 Steamrunners, and Picard.

Description

Here's a slightly less silly peek at the work in progress on the new Klingon Titan. Wiley has been hard at work taking our impossibly complex and often contradictory demands and making a beautiful concept from it. Hope you like it.
