Thats A galaxy class, my all time favorite starship class.
I think, and Max'll tell me if I'm right that's the venture refit version seen in some DS9 episodes.
very few exterior model differences except for some lighting that was also seen in TNG in the last two seasons. Technically speaking however the warp core had been redesigned at this point in order to facilitate a more effective containment and ejection system, since the previous system had cost the lives of several star ships including the Yamoto, Odyssey and Enterprise D.
turns out I was wrong, not the venture :D it's missing the extra phazers. that'll teach me to look at it in HD won't it
