Yes, much better than the old screenshots! These are truly majestic shots of the Sovereign, the most kickass ship in Star Trek canon!

The Vesta class comes in a cool second, but that's Beta canon.

smaller poly count, only 2 textures instead of five. Made to lag your i7 less.

It was joke
still good to hear about optimalization, we will all surely appreciate that, ancient engine can sometime be stubborn and when he decide to lag, no graphic settings or modern hardware will help

Now that is a beautiful ship, as i said before its sad that it only featured in 3 films, The sovereign deserved to be in more or feature in a TV series.

Always thought the Sovereign Class was a natural evolution of the Constitution

The sovereign class was put forward some time after the success of the Galaxy. Its goal was to create a ship that could do everything a Galaxy class could but required fewer resources to build and maintain. To do this the Starfleet Corps of Engineers turned to an older design that functioned well for its time, the Constitution. So essentially your spot on.

The Devs of Star Trek Online should take it as a good Example. I like this here more than the STO Version!

The problem with STO is a lot of their textures are years outdated, and a major problem with the Intrepid, is the shape is slightly off, which to me is very noticeable, and they have random parts where there are splits in the hull where it isn't supposed to be, Though their Sovereign model is good, it does need some work, and the Armada 3 team has done an amazing job in making the models the right shapes :)

Description

I felt the last set of screenshots didn't reflect the quality of the model, I didn't have my graphic settings right and there were some shadow artifacts. I have taken some new shots for you to enjoy. Hopefully this will satisfy you all this time :)
