looks great! About waiting for a lakota model too though, there was like only ever 1 of those sub type excelsior seen in that ds9 era, it might have been the last one active. it doesn't seem like they made many of that subtype, and if they did they are probably some of the oldest excelsior hulls. its sort of odd to see fleets of them in game.
the current excelsior refit research should just give the nacelles that glow, an early 2370s refit is what apparently added that visual, that you see on the cgi excelsior. the Lakota her self would make a perfect new hero unit once the model gets done, maybe have it fire exclusively quantums.
...or branch off the lakota refit research to make it optional, that way you can still get your akiras and defiants without picking it up like the venture refit for the galaxy class.
it is odd seeing tons of lakota subtypes flying around ;D
yeah we're not changing that...
and I'm OK with that, just swap the nacelles around and it'll be perfecto ;P
love the game Max, best game on the mountain :D

Feel free to give it a go. I think it will pose problems with engine resources though, unfortunately.
