I know this question is annoying but any time table for when Romulans and Cardassians and the Dominion will get this treatment? Also will the borg every get this as well? Would love to have a First Contact explosion effect for a cube :D
it's ongoing, I expect we'll have it done when we release the update (which at this point I'm afraid we can't give a date on, as we're making a lot of changes, such as the new planet types, and new nebula's. There will also be a greater variety of militia vessels. In addition to having new freshly made vessels put in game. We're trying to lessen the amount of legacy models we've made use of my re-making many of them-see the new saber a few images back for reference)
Thanks for the update. However i find it funny that you are moving away from legacy models whilst Sacrifice of Angels is moving towards using them XD
We're really lucky to have some excellent modelers on the team, and we really want to show off just how great their work is. The Legacy models are good, but we'd rather have as much of the mod being "self made" as possible.
I've always played SOA2 and still do, and I think it's a good move on their part to use some of the Legacy models as we have. MyFisto is doing great work mapping them all out and fitting them into their textural style over at SOA2.
I've noticed that fed destroyed ships seem a little more blown up than Klingon ones is this because fed ships, hull and armour wise are weaker, and so when the ship goes up more of the ship is destroyed whereas Klingon hull armour is stronger and holds together better. Or am i over thinking this?
I would say that's as good an explanation as any.
