Idryll, really? That's the (invented) species from "Elite Force II". Are they canon now?

Btw. "Krindo" not "Kridno" please. :)

You sound like you're fun at parties, complaining about everything and generally being a nerd.

Invented? Yes, invented. In the same way that Klingons, Romulans, Cardassians and Borg are invented. The same way the USS Enterprise is invented. Star Trek is fiction.

And yes, they featured heavily in a licensed Star Trek game, so technically they're canon.

No offence, but I'm not complaining, It was just a normal commentary, because I was surprised to see them in this mod. Is this now not allowed to do that? I love this mod, but I never saw the Idryll in another Star Trek game or mod.

And with "invented" I mean this species was just invented for this game as I know like the mysterious Forge species from the first Elite Force part.

Apologies. I interpreted your comment as having a complaining, critical tone.

The Final Frontier is going to dramatically expand the roster of neutral ships you encounter. Expect to encounter races from Star Trek lore rarely seen.

No problem, maybe I should phrase my comments next time a bit better. Now I see it sounds really a bit complaining, what wasn't my intention. :)

I have read the news about the Final Frontier expansion and I wonder how many new races we will see. Was still surprised of the Hirogen. So there could be maybe also a chance for other Delta Quadrant races. :D

Btw. It's a pitty you cancelled the work on Axanar: Strategic Operations. Was looking forward to this mod. I'm sure you would have also added the USS Franklin if the mod would be continued. I really hope you finished it if the lawsuit will be dropped.

We occasionally get comments that are unduly harsh towards starship designs found in other games. A recent one described them as 'the cancer of true Star Trek'.

You'll be seeing a lot of new neutral races. Max and Ambarenya are busy little bees at the moment.

As for Axanar, while it would have been fun we don't have any plans to resurrect that project. The lawsuit against the Axanar film project and Ares Studios is much more serious than many people seem to think.
