Not the Excelsior class!
I love that class too, but to be honest the Federation has a few hundred more where that one came from. The effects, textures and just about everything else in this mod looks absolutely stunning.

This reminds me on the opening scene of the DS9 episode "Emissary, Part I", in which Locutus' Borg Cube destroys and Excelsior-class starship.

Yeah all I can hear In my head is sulu shouting SHIELDS, SHIELDS!!!!, that is awesome looking screenshot, this and dawn of the reapers mod I cannot wait to get my hands on and play :)
umm. Is there supposed to be debris getting blasted off before the shields go down? Then again ships do tend to take damage while their shields are still working in the Star Trek universe, just wondering really.
Indeed very lovely the shuttles or fighters or what ever it is in the background firing seem much to small though. Looks like as if the phasers and torpedos are larger than the ships firing them.
I would also hate if we barely see the shuttles and only on maximum zoom. Investigate that. They weren't that small in the series at least not the runabouts, venture class, delta flyers etc.
It's something of a matter of perspective. A cube is pretty damn big.
They do have to be scaled so they could fit into shuttle bays so don't expect them to be dwarfing planets.
