Looking good so far :) Will you be adding further detail to the KDF ships as you have to the fed ones?
This might just be my opinion, but I actually like the simpler klingon buttons over the fed ones. Fits better with a "menu button" and I'm unlikely to notice the details while playing anyways (at least not on 1900x1200 resolutions).
So I guess my suggestion would be to bring the other faction buttons in line with the Klingon ones.
I agree the Klingon ones have a more star trek feel about them or is that just me.
Each factions build buttons have a unique style the fed ones are as they are and the klingons are more stylized :)
Sounds good. Forgive the million and one questions I tend to ask, but I enjoy being able to see the creative mindset of the modders. I like the fact that you're seeing a path to differentiate the races in more than one way, and give them each a unique perspective.
On a related note, not sure why you downvoted a question ladies and gentlemen.
i like them both.it suits the two races very well.the fed is more detailed and klingon is more simple and tough.please keep up with the goodwork!:D
Personally, I would rather have the Fed ones but that is my opinion. What ever works, works.
why are there two nebula types or is that another class i dont know of
I think they are both Nebula Class just 2 different versions of it could be wrong though.
the nebula "phoenix" varient with the round pod is a support vessel role but the regular nebula class with the triangular pod is more a special weapons assault vessel
as far as i know,there is also another type of nebula with two additional warp nacelles,will it be added to the game?
might be in the future, i do still have one open slot ;)

It is quite hard to make factions diverse if you have lots of shiptyes. Roles will overlap within a faction, ships will end up being stronger replacements for other ships. Factions will become more similar the more different roles the ships cover. Unless you have lots of brain power in your team that can avert this from happening I would suggest to avoid adding too many shiptypes. I would even go as far as to suggest that you add less ships than a faction would have in stock sins (this also goes for capships) if it helps form a factions identity.
