Visit TecnoBacon.com, go to the repository and try the new .DB format of the mod. Many other goodies there as well.
Now spend hours in the Zone without the constant hassle of CTDs! Almost totally erradicated! Help us finish testing the BETA, only five patches left!
If you use my .DB format then updates will only effect .DBi so you won't need to download .DB0 thru .DBh again.

It's not rock solid yet, but it's getting there.
For the most part it is quite stable, but i do recommend the use of the .db version for the most noticeable changes.
Given the magnitude of the project, Tecnobacon is doing a stellar job of optimizing everything with each patch.

It's the only way right now to get all needed files related to StalkerSoup, so i'm surprised he hasn't himself provided a direct link given the situation on his website.

From my experience, you encounter Offline A-Life as well as Online A-Life quite a bit more. Some seem to be Rambo though, (65k Ranking points) killing everything and everybody they come across. At least in theory, they're not so though anymore if they look into the rear end of my gun ;P

Already gave Tecno some feedback on the patch.
I still have some issues with the Arena, but it seems to be pretty easy to fix (well, one of the issues at least), apparently it's a few dialog lines missing.
It's not too long until 1.1 is released? I finished SOC for the first time with Complete mod about a month ago so I'm in no hurry, I can wait. :)
