Increases the in-game FOV setting to 75. Read instructions below.
A clean, unmodified version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat (version 1.6.02) is required. (There should be no gamedata or _appdata folder!)
- Download Spatial Anomaly (Update 4.1) — Russian version
- Install on top of a clean version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat
- Download English patch for Spatial Anomaly (Update 4.1)
- Install on top of Spatial Anomaly, now located in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat directory
- (Optional) Download Spatial Anomaly (Update 4.1) — 75 FOV (the file on this page)
- Install on top of an existing Spatial Anomaly installation (Drag the bin folder in the archive into the mod's root directory)
This only for FOV?
Yes. That’s why it is uploaded as a separate file.
Does that make the game more Fov or less?
More. I've updated the description to reflect that.
Thats's 75? Rather that's 90
I think STALKER uses vertical FOV or something. It’s strange.
Games before Widescreen did this differently.
For example Half-Life 1 on Steam requies a FOV of "106" for a regular 16:9 FOV, because the way it's calculated is really weird.
This makes all Half-Life multiplayer mods unplayable in Widescreen, because FOV is too small and you can't change it in multiplayer.
Is it possible to add fov as a console command? Or does this require timely engine changes?
Engine changes, definitely.
