This mod is probably one of my, if not, my favourite mod for call of pripyat,

The story was amazing and never lets you go, I was playing this non stop for about three days and even when in bed I was wondering what would happen next.

The Metro 2033 inspiration was pretty clear in some places, like how one of the endings has parts from the Metro 2033 OST and how the stalker commander at the outpost looked like one of the people from Metro 2033.

And the world is also surpeisingly big and fun to explore, despite it being limited to one map per chapter.

Personally, I think that this should be made a full, official game for the stalker series. 10/10

This mod is amongst the best game experience I had!

The story is very good, so good that it outweights all the problems I had.

- the story is linear, yet sometimes its not clear what is the next thing to do, or where to go. I suppose this is related to the bad translation.
- despite the translation being bad, it is still good enough to carry the atmosphere/feeling over, and specially to tell the story.
- I encountered only one serious bug, where I couldn't talk to the technician, but completing the current main objective fixed that.

Personal:
At one point in the mod I got bored of it, and thought "oh well I saw it, no point in continuing to try to save those peoples, and I will never get out of it." But then some twist in the story happens - and I was hooked - totally hooked.

It is no exaggeration to say that you will spend more time reading than shooting in your playthrough.
Now that could be fine if the dialogues were written by Dostoyevsky, but they read like a fanfic.
It could also be fine if it were an immersive survival game like NLC 7 where combat is difficult and you have to scavenge for supplies, but both the combat and the economy are **** easy. At one point near the end of the game the stalkers hype a rare mutant that you need to kill, and when you engage it it dies in 6 shots (from an AK!).

I want to repeat there is very little shooting in this mod. If you take out the last half hour of the game, there is literally not a single firefight that lasts over a minute. For a 15 hour FPS game that is laughable.

This mod was a ******* delight. The pacing was perfect: I was never bored, always had a task, always had a direction. The characters were unique and memorable and the featuring of legendary STALKER characters had me hooting.

There's completionist stuff to do for players that are into that, but it can easily be rushed for people that aren't.

The translation is impeccable, the gameplay is good, the writing is outstanding. The start of the story was great and the ending was amazing.

I only wish that it was longer because it was such a joy to play through. If the mod makers decided to produce another story-based mod, I'd play it in a heartbeat.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the making of this mod. If you guys had been the ones to write the original trilogy, it wouldn't have been so generic.

Very well written, voiced and translated.

In terms of balancing it's a bit random with it being mostly easy but with hard parts. (Hint: Strafe left-right in that fight)

A bit dissapointed with you not really needing new suits since you barely get to use them.

The two later zones feel a bit empty on the A-life side with not much going on, plus some unused space.

Scripting-wise the infinite stalker spawners don't feel very reassuring.

But overall I'd recommend it just for the story alone and the spatial anomaly itself. Actual score: 8.5

Fantastic story mod for CoP, can't speak of it higher, my kudos to the developer. Amazing setting, characters, missions, even the dialogue is great. It's a shame its so short, wouldn't mind seeing it in a CoC based mod as a storyline!

Amazing

I am amazed by high quality of this game/mod design. It has it's own story that fits well in Stalker universe and it plays without crashes, at least with v4.1 version on my end.

A truly well made and design mod that is story driven. Highly recommended !

Spatial Anomaly is definitely and interesting take at a STALKER mod. To get it out of the way quickly: Spatial Anomaly is fairly linear (whether that's a good or bad thing is up to the individual) and on the "fetch questy" side. You'll be doing several rounds of circles, but I don't believe it detracts too much from the package as a whole simply because this mod is almost unmatched in polish and direction when compared to the rest of the STALKER modding scene.

I don't want to go to deep into things seeing as this is a very story centric mod but you'll definitely find your share of twists, turns, goofs, and some spoops, all of which will make you want to keep progressing.

TL;DR it's a good mod. Download it, play it, love it, hate it, bitch about it to your dad, to your sister, I don't care just give it a shot. The first section will leave you a bit lost (though that might just be my casual showing) but try not to drop it so quickly.

I will end this by saying that a nice, manual translation really does need to be worked on. TKGP does a great job at cleaning up a machine translations but you just can't get around all the wonky text.
