Situation Outbreak is an Orange Box mod about the impending zombie apocalypse. Armed with nothing but a 9mm and a pair of brass knuckles, you must do whatever it takes to survive against the thousands of zombies that used to be your friends and neighbors. The cost of failure is nothing less than your free will. There are no heroes. No single person can save the world and there are not enough bullets to go around. The only thing left to do is to kill the damned, hoping that you don’t end up like them.

And this is only what we've decided to include in this developer preview! There are still plenty of more features in development that will be implemented in v1.50, including two more gamemodes - one of them being Overlord - and even more maps and weapons.
That looked awesome! I really cant wait to play this.
But for when you broke down that door, you should use fake DMM. Split the door into pieces and make them a func_detail then make them a func_physbox. I forget how to do it off the top of my head but there is a youtube tutorial. It looks better and makes it a little more realistic.

Wow! This mod has definately come a long way from when I first started watching it when before the first version was released. The Mac-10 looks awsome and I can't wait to use it. This mod is just gonna get better and better and I'll be here every step of the way supporting you guys! =D Awesome work.

This is fixed in the latest download from ModDB. Download and install v1.40 (FIXED). Make sure you remove your current "ZombieMod Source" folder first, though.

because if you will notice my review your other maps do, you need to seriously think about who you have on your mod team Grey-Echo. We had a entire laugh session about how most of your mods maps look like crap and play like it to. That is the only thing that is bringing this mod down is the maps.
I'm not trying to come across as hating this mod btw I'm trying to offer advice so you guys will actually do good.

Looks realy good.....and i love the iron sights.
As far as I saw, in many maps abounds the red light, and, well, its too used, try making (for example, the stairs with the red light) making it darker, and at the end of the stair, some light coming out from the other room, or maybe a fluorescent tube flickering... things like that, and all the maps would be better :P
As for the Mac, yeah, looks awesome ingame, the animations are good tho.
And it would be nice to add the famous "coldcock" or stock hit, whatever; but should be a better way than switching the bottle, or maybe a kick like in SMOD. (I'm saying this because of the time waste trying to break the door with the bottle) xD
But overall, the map, and the new features looks good.

There is one official server up at this time. It will appear in your server browser automatically when you search for servers. Again though, most everything new in the video is in v1.50, an upcoming release that will be out mid-July. The current public release is v1.40, which can be downloaded here on ModDB on our Downloads page.
I seen your livestream and you are really good at animation echo, so it would be pretty cool, if you could animate the reload of the mac-10, that when you put the amuclip in, then the hand could pull back that trigger on the top of the mac, sorry for my bad english i'm german :D, but i hope you understood what i tried to explain, would be really cool if you could do that :)

There will be plenty of melee weapons to choose from in v1.50 - hopefully - including a new custom axe model made by Ryan.

Uh, no. That would be highly unrealistic, and since we're trying to be realistic when we can, that's not going to be "fixed". You think that you'd have time to manage the amount of ammo in a given clip in under a couple of seconds while being chased by hundreds of zombies? I don't think so! =P
