Very nice, although I don't quite understand the Aperture Science reference. Has it been adapted by the Combine?

Aperture science was the second leading company in technology next to black mesa. They, like black mesa developed technology, tools, and weapons. The combine most likley developed it and then the combine stole the weapon and technology for their own use.

Nah, we just figured a gun from Aperture was more interesting than a gun from Black Mesa. Just had a slightly "portal gun" look around it. Simple as that ;)

or maybe it is a experimental weopon that the humans are using to fight the combine. it doesnt really say that is combine carrying it.

Yeah the concept artist was just playing around with that :D what a aperture soldier would look like i think. Does look like a combine soldier though :D

alpha, sorry for correcting you, but the combine hasn't conquered the world yet, so have no human soldiers, except the sympathizers (which were a bitchin' idea) so an aperture soldier makes much more sense, or like an aperture body suit made for the military.

hmmm nice weapon design only that if its an aperture weapon it shuld be white and rounded thats the aperture style i think also

I'd love to see a concept of the soldier in Aperture armour. Nice take on the rail gun too, looks nice and grubby. Nice idea for the colour scheme, I guess you really do not want to be conspicuous carrying a shiny white gun around in a grubby warzone!

maybe aperture science is fighting the combine since black mesa is destroyed.
