Is the Ezo Republic on Hokkaido included as a faction? It was founded by Tokugawa Naval Commander Enomoto Takeaki... Just curious.

Also note that try to open the world map causes the game to crash. I don't know yet what is causing the problem.

Is it on your plans to add GATLING gun , Henry Rifle 1860(& Winchester carbine), colt rifle 1855 and some other weapons which are already in the mod resources folder but they are unavailable in game to the mod ?
Gatling gun is one the best things ever you can add to this great mod also artillery.

I could add those, but the gatling gun is broken as it acts like a normal repeater

if you add those weapons(Henry Rifle 1860 and...) i appreciate it so much(it's easier).
but for the Gatling Gun & artillery which are harder works, you can get help from the ŮŽauthors of these mods:
for Gatling Gun "Blood and iron age of imperialism" mod, Author:

for Artillery " L'Aigle " mod, Author:

Is it normal that the firearms don't have fire and smoke particles attacked to them?

Played the Rework now for a few days and i'm absolutely pleased that Rising Sun still gets interest. Many thanks for keeping it alive. This is one of my favorite mods, based on an unique historical theme and in the fine work done on Gekokujo. I've noticed the improvements you listed and i like them all.

Regarding troops, i tested the "WIP troop tree" provided and in my opinion it's fairly realistic, although, as you said, it's very unbalanced. I tried myself to edit the original troop trees as close as possible to the rare historical sources available (e.g. Ian Heath, Rita Nakanishi, Osprey) but ended up a bit overwhelmed by the possibilities - or lack of them - so yours is a great place to try and start afresh. In my two cents the most crucial goal is to update troop statistics, because the basic upgrade lines and equipments are all right.

Again, thanks. I'll keep a very attentive eye on future developments.
