Further removed some armor, fits way better than the previous version. But then again, these models will be just placeholders anyway.

I hope we get version without that gear as a mechanic of some sort.
These Army Troopers look like elite of the Imperial Army.

Probably because with all the gear on them they look "Super Tacticool" which gives off an elite look to them.

Gotta agree with you guys, first impression is these guys are way more elite than the stormtroopers. Almost on the same level as the Death Troopers.

I wouldn't go that far but these guys give me the impression of an Imperial Army equivalent of the Ranger corps or Marine First Recon(even though the Stormtrooper corps is already pretty much the Imperial rangers)

Don't worry, our shoretroopers are taking that role, and they'll be just as tacticool

How many mag pouches are the shoretroopers getting then? How much helmet gear do they get?

Our level of tacticool is so high, we might be adding mag pouches onto the mag pouches #magception

In between fighting the covenant, the UNSC marines work part-time jobs as Cyber-City police and imperial army troopers

the payment must be really bad if they need 3 part-time jobs :(

My suggestions would be to give them turtle necks, ballistic masks, give specialists visors, camouflage for different environments, and different colours for higher-ranking members.

Description

A very early WIP version of the Army Troopers, based on the UNSC marines. More of an concept model, to get an idea what they could look like in the future.
I simply used the Halo UNSC model from WC and removed some parts, plus adding the new textures.
The helmet is a mix of the navy trooper helmet and the classic imperial combat helmet.
The plan is to give these guys some Star Wars armor and gear (most likely from Battlefront) at some point.
