Revamp Expansion Mod (RVE) The Ultimate Supreme Commander 2 Experience (New Scale, New Units, New Ability's, New Game)

RVE 2.0 is taking a long time to get here, which is by no means a bad thing, as more time working means a better mod (and 2.0 will be truly phenomenal), but in the meantime, another mod may be useful to hold people over until 2.0 comes out. This mod will port even more supcom:fa units AND units from Burnie222's Total Mayhem and add various features (aka balances/"bug" fixes) to revamp until RVE 2.0 comes out.

Just thought i would let you guys know what we are currently working on.

Progress for RVE 2.0 Pre-Alpha
We are up to making the layouts for the tree most of the upgrades from the vanilla game have been removed a select few will be added back in.
After we have a research tree up then we will be going over the balance of each unit one by one, Please keep in mind RVE 2.0 will have its own balance it wont be based off 1.05 or vanilla.

Only major problem I have is that you made Urchinows friggin OP. Nearly all my cybran xps couldn't kill 1 urchin in a 1v1. Refine the dmg/health balance a bit and id like this mod. Atm I cant play against aeon cause they spam urchins that can kill anything I send at them.
Pretty nice mod, just the exp balance is an issue for me :P

Cant wait for next version of TM, it has a couple of my models in it :D

I, personally, am really excited for the UEF T4 gunship coming. I know, like the UEF need another gunship, but how can one resist a flying fatboy-thing?

I guess I'll pull down the urchinow health a tad more...

Actually, with so much stuff i have not used from the current TM,i have yet to find any lacking so far,except for Air XPs....

As for your Urchinow problem, i am afraid right now is not the best time for balance, when a massive porting is ahead.....
But I am not the balancer who does number crunching anyway, i am just here to do functionality checks.

Oh I know its very early in development, im not pushing balancing or anything, just voicing that I think the urchin is a bit overpowered atm. ofcourse balancing is one of the last things to do in a mod.

Sorry to Cybran Fans !
I have just examined the turtling situation in land defences,and its absolutely lacking in some aspects compared to the UEF.
As an apology, i am Buffing up the Hacker to be as functionally efficient as the UEF Aegis.

As for Aeon, i have reexamined the situation,i am going to give them the Fraxinus XP tower.Simply forced into relying on Warpers isnt right!
It will be doing the same thing as the UEF Perses role wise,but it will function differently.

I got a severe problem with the expansion on the mod, the unitport one, Basically I got the original mod installed and to my knowledge the newest version as well as all the previous additions to that:

Warp pillars
Eco panel
Eco Mod
Eco Mod blitz ai
Revamp map pack

as well as the obligatory Mod support v7 that comes with the download I replaced the one I had formerly with the one that came with the new download.

but whenever I try to start a new skirmish just before the loading is over the game crashes.

and I checked when I removed the addon everything seemed to be working smoothly.

Is this an actual bug or am I doing something wrong?

The problem that you have is probably with one of what I call the "extra" mods. I know that the revamp map pack and eco panel work, but I'm not sure about the blitz AI, eco mod, or warp pillars. Actually, I think warp pillars messes things up....try removing warp pillars, and if you still have issues, start removing the AI and the Eco Mod. If you're still having issues, there's probably a messed up install somewhere...
