We've been hard at work these last few months since our last update with progress being made across the board.
The game is coming along beautifully in all areas, and we're finally seeing some of the features we've really been looking forward to make it into the game. We don't want to say too much and blow our whole load all at once, so for now enjoy these screens depicting a couple of firefights on Ste. Marie du Mont.
In this new batch, we're showing off our new hands and weapon viewmodels (complete with reactive slings). You can also see stills of our new effects for grenade explosions (we'll have a lot more on revamped and improved FX in the future). In addition, there's also a progressive run-through (in sequential screen format) from the outskirts of the town to it's central square. Lastly, we've tucked in a nice teaser of things to come...
Really awesome guys!
Oh my, looks very good… I see parachutes! :D
Some questions:
- Is the gameplay more like INS or like DODS?
- How much of the art is home-made?
- When is the release? (Ignore this question ;) )
I see nothing.
Wow. Amazing.
I can't not wait for this mod.
how did you guys get ahold of valves next engine???
Way less arcadish than DoD:S, and even more inclined towards realism than INS (opinion!). I'd put it somewhere between INS and OFP/ArmA.
Pretty much everything. Of course we're using some HL2 textures/models here and there (just like most Source based games), but we've a huge amount of selfmade content (more than DoD:S just to give you an idea). It's a full conversion after all.
Ok ;)
Wow, this is amazing! This almost makes me shameful of my WWII mod.
Great work guys, will be very interesting to see how the game-play pans out.. looks great, very much looking forward to it.. keep up the impressive work RnL team...
Looking great guys, nice work.
