The goal of Resistance and Liberation is to realistically portray the events and actions taken by the 82nd Airborne during their stay in Normandy. Our initial release will follow the regiments through a campaign that mimics that followed by the men themselves. The campaign will begin with players dropping into Normandy in the early hours of June 6th, with the ultimate objective of capturing the town of Sainte-Mere-Eglise. From there subsiquent maps will include missions based on other key areas after the D-Day.

Usually always one server with enough people playing (on "normal" hours). If there are not it is "pretty easy" to start one up by just joining a good server, people will follow!

Insurgency isnt difficult, the only reason why people is dying that's because they just run, aim all the time and walk slowly and you'll see the differens.
Cant wait to try this out! Alpha 3 didnt work for me, so im hoping this will :D

It's really a shame. This game has potential, the guns were made well. animations too.
t's just... dammit. No one plays it. This should just tie in with the Insurgency mod, to give the modern warfare and WWII warfare options.

I found I was having poor download speeds and the downloads were stopping at about 200-400 MB. If you can't run the installer, try manually selecting a mirror close to you. I think the FDCCDN server is buggered. Also, although I am in West Coast North America, I think I was downloading from Australia...
when i install this it doesn't appear on my game list !

Man...This thing actually takes 1 hour to load! I can download HL2 in half that amount of time!

pick a mirror closer to you, thats what I did and it took less than half the time.
