After the dissaster with the T-Virus, the Umbrella Corp. decided to make a second virus known as the Q4-Virus. But tests shown that when the T-Virus and the Q4-Virus mixed, it caused dangerous mutations. Tempted with their evil minds the Umbrella Corp. decided to inject both the T-Virus and the Q4-Virus into a human host. The effect was beyond what the tests had shown and a new infection has been created. The infection took over Racoon City and then went for SkyLight City. The infection spread through the city within twelve hours leaving but a few survivors.
The Evil Begins...
Resident Evil: The Evil Begins is a modification for Half-Life 2. You can choose from different characters from SkyLight City. There is two modes so far that you can play, Cooperative or Hold Em Back.
Cooperative: You join with your fellow survivors to escape from SkyLight City. You have to work together and beat each level.
Hold Em Back: You are in a building/house and have to try to hold of the waves of zombies trying to attack you. If a zombie gets past a certian spot in the building/house then you lose. Then the next round starts and you have to beat the surviving time of the last round.
Each character will have his/her own advantages and disadvantages. For example:
John Anderson
+10 Speed
+10 Streagth
Can handle all weapons
Some characters cannot handle all the weapons. Like Steven Miller can hold all the weapons but cannot handle them. So he could shoot but because of the kick back he wont always hit the zombie.

We've been pretty busy, were trying to get things wrapped up and put ingame. We have a new website being made by our lead er RaulXpT and hope to get it up soon. Numerous maps are being made and hopefully will be filled with tons of zombies for your pleasure. by point i mean as far as the storyline goes... He was unnesisarily rude though. Iether way, its their production,so it doesn't matter what we think of it. It's more like a fanfic if anything. (Still, try to put a little more thought into a better storyline next time plz)

That's extremely rude. People shouldn't judge things until they're complete. And as for the way in which the writer of this mod interpreted the world Resident Evil, it is his own creativity... and he has the right to modify it as he wishes. Putting the Resident Evil stamp on it is only important if he plans to make a profit from it. Otherwise he could call it whatever he likes. Such stupid people throwing out random judgements on things they care nothing about and to lazy to get off their own ***** and make something. Expecting everyone else to do all the work and then judging them for it. Weak... sad and pathetic.
I added this to my modwatch just because I saw "Resident Evil" and thought "Hey, a Resident Evil mod, sounds great." But now that I've seen it updated on my modwatch and actually took a look, I got to wondering... What does this have to do with Resident Evil other than the T-virus? Is this just going to be a half-assed fan-made version of Outbreak on the Source engine??
Honestly, Resident Evil was never about holding off hordes of zombies. If you ever ran into several zombies at once in any Resident Evil game other than 4, you'd probably leave the room alone or run past them. In fact, the movies didn't even feature any zombie sieges. If you're going to make a mod where you hold off zombies, attribute it to any of the hundreds of great zombie movies out there, not Resident Evil. If you knew anything about either, you'd understand my point 100%.
And what's this "Q4-virus" crap? Umbrella isn't 'evil' necessarily. They're a corporation. They do what they do for profit and self-interest, not because "OOOOH! LET'S GO MAKE PEOPLE SUFFER!" or "AHAHAHA LET'S TAKE OVER THE WORLD WITH A DEATH RAY!" And what tests? If they're just injecting the T-virus into a human host with some new virus, what tests are you talking about? Umbrella's been ******* with genetic research for years, they're not just gonna decide one day to start shooting all sorts of untested viral combinations into living humans because something neat might happen.
Oh, and your images are ugly, that too. Your "Dark Matter Zombie", whatever the **** that is, looks like a licker. 'Nuff said.
