Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

Sorry was wiping off my keyboard after seeing this.
I liked the crashed Republic cruiser in the background. That was a nice touch.
Z3r0x makes me feel like I'm the only girl in the world.
Get your GOTIS out of here.
Calm down, bro. It was a joke.
i do wonder why a hammerhead ?
further cant wait every thing keeps getting better :P
Ord Mantell is like Raxus Prime, It's a Junkyard planet. It's one of the first places you'd go to find a hammerhead!
I wonder why nobody has tried to take the Hammerhead and put it in the shipyard?
because it's 4000 years old, maybe?
Still one turbolaser from the ship and you could destroy an AT-TE or AAT in one blast adds for allot of firepower when defending.
2 words: cost effectiveness.
How much would it cost to dig the hammerhead out, repair it and put it in working order?
how much would it cost to set up some turbolaser towers?
Not only will turbolaser towers be more powerful, but it would probably be cheaper. The world is run on economics.
pff!stupid G0-TO fan. jk lol
So if a ship crashes and you had the choice between waiting for a new turbolaser tower to defend you or a turbolaser intact and on the spot, you would prefer the tower? thats just a stupid decision in the midst of a battle.
Is it intact? By the time of the clone wars, that ship is at the very least, a thousand years old, at the most, almost 4000. It's almost certainly been rusted to hell. It'd need to be repaired and reactivated. Even then, the turbolasers would be ancient. They'd be weak, unreliable and slow. To make them remotely reliable, you'd need to change all the components to newer components. It'd probably cost more than a turbolaser tower and take longer, all for a less effective ship.
i agree with vader
dig? there is at least 2 turbo lasers on the top of the ship remember. if its a junkyard planet then the right components would probably be lying around.
doesn't look like anything has been dumped there in a while. not like Raxis prime
It wouldn't be cost effective- Wages, cost of parts, cost of finding parts.
This is part of Ord Mantell which isn't a junkyard. A vast portion of it was.
This part of Ord Mantell was part of the Junkyard. If anyone played the Renegade squadron map(the map this was based off of) then you would rememeber there was junk EVERYWHERE most of it was clone wars stuff though (hailfires, an at-te here and there, a homing spider droid leg of here)
Outdated? ha! the Star forge was outdated and it nearly won the war! besides it looks like the top guns could be used as a turbolaser tower just a tad weaker, remember its a ship and ships fire big shots so an AT-TE would be turned to scrap after... 2 salvos maybe 3 considering the armor it has.
