The cockroach was a highly resistant and durable creature even before said mutations started affecting them. It has recently been uncovered that certain Colonies seem to have mutated the humble cockroach into massive creatures we now commonly call as Roaches that have replaced their Soldier Ants. The Roach has an accelerated healing factor that lets them shrug off enemy fire but in exchange having a less powerful but still deadly mandible & sharpened limb attack.
