nice but in cnc zero hour never never create one big airfield (to construct b52 , b2 etc , the size of this plane do not enter correctly in all airports include this.

Very true, this airfield will house about 20 to 24 fighters such as F15's, and F 16's etc... I already tried it with 14 planes and it works well. Its worth noting that the longer runway is used for takeoff while the other is used for landing. I will post more pictures and videos in 2 days.

If I may suggest the runways should be intersecting each other and not overlaying or underlaying. In addition the texture should reflect that.

I like the way you notice hidden details in my models. Yes i am aware that they should intersect however I was rushing things when I did that model. The model is still very incomplete. I will fix that when i come back to this model.

this is fantasitc! but I think these old outdated hangers need to be updated along with the ATC tower, it would be simpy amazing to see a live air base with realistic structurs and features, like wise it be nice if there were updated civilian and scale sized structures to map geographicly acurate battle fields say a battle in a russian town or uraban combat in london or chinese beach head off san diago, so much pottential!! dude to keep it up man pave the way you and QSN and Lee keep it up cheers!

QSN is the guy behind the modern warfare mod? I am inspired by his mod, but who is Lee? Actually i was inspired the most by CWC, then by QSN's work, and finally by sgtmyers88. SWR is good too especially when it comes to making videos.

Yes peace mission has good models and many nations. its a very good mod. Regarding the "geographically accurate battlefields", this is exactly what i am trying to do. I want the range of every weapon in the game to be realistic and to be measured in distance (game units). then we will make a scale for the map (ie. 1000 distance = 20 km) and the rest will be mapping stuff.

the airfield will be surrounded by SAM sites in the map but it wont hurt if we add some guns as you said.

yes thats a good idea if the airfield was russian. However, we can use ZU-23-2 on pickups for the UER. Lybians used it see Wikipedia for the ZU 23-2

I would recommend limiting the nations to the following:

GLA
China
Russia
USA/NATO

This way you won't be overwhelmed.

well at this stage no. When the planned goals are met, we might add Naval Warfare but thats very far from now. However, we might add single player or multiplayer missions with an aircraft carrier and some battleships.

Description

A prototype of a large airfield i am working on. The textures are still in a preliminary stage. However, the model is working in game. This model is being developed to be included in special Airfield Attack missions.
