Quick MOTY post image - Wars of the Firstborn based on The Ridder Clan Mod for Battle for Middle-earth II: Rise of the Witch King
Wars of the Firstborn is a modification based on the discontinued Ridder Clan Mod for The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II and for The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II - The Rise of the Witch-King expansion, which focuses on bringing to life as much of the Elven world from Tolkien’s epic as possible.
I was not sure if I should post something about this MOTY but truth be told I showed everything I had until this point so now since we are on hold, there is nothing more to show.
That being said we don't have any real chance of getting anything this year but that's all right, we never planned that anyway. If you do vote for us you have our thanks and hopefully we will see you the next release.
I still have some plans but those will come later, until then enjoy this Thranduil render! Set it as your desktop wallpaper, you know you want to!

RCR is not a bad mod, but tbh you made one big mistake in this picture! A sword like the one in this picture is a ONE-Blade-Blade....therefore it has a really hard and sharp Blad to cut through everything and a much softer Back to parry other weapons...
due to the way the sword is designed to be used, the blade must be facing "the ground" and the Back facing "the Sky" when held in your hand with the tip pointing away from you...the way your Thranduil is holding his sword would only cause laughter and a fast death ;)
He just parried something and now he needs to look fabulous.
That Erebor gate is serious MOTY stuff though. I really hope we'll get to experience it in action one day, one way or another :-)
