Republic Assault is a full scale conversion mod for the Petroglyphy game Star Wars Forces of Corruption. Using elements from both the current canon, and existing EU to create the best possible game experience.
So over the past weekend I had decided to go through some various Star Wars related assets, most being Battlefront ones. Here's the first result from some work later. I will also likely release additional photos of what I did, a lot of them were CIS related.
Anyways, with the V-19 I decided to implement Kad's State Machine script, but this time it works correctly. So no more switching mid combat. Big thanks to Kad for helping me out with it.
I had also decided to rework the current fighter system to where they do less damage, and have lower overall stats. But are about doubled in squadron size, except for bombers, which will likely be given an additional 30-50% in size as apposed to an additional 100%. To compensate for this, all ships that carry squadrons lose a 1/3 of total squadrons, and active squadrons. Carrier class ships like the Valiant, CIS Carrier, and Lucrehulk are excluded from this.

So how many fighters are in different squadrons? The way I usually set mine up (for personal mods) is 6 fighters in Republic/Rebellion/Pirate/Hutt/Whateverthethirdfactionis squadrons, 6 bombers in Republic/Rebellion/Pirate/Hutt/Whateverthethirdfactionis squadrons, 12 fighters in Imperial/Separatist squadrons, and 6 bombers in Imperial/Separatist squadrons (the only exception to this rule is submods for Thrawn's Revenge where all added squadrons have 12 per). I find that these numbers play very nicely with each other as most starfighter compliments given on the wiki are divisible by 12 and by extension 6, making for easy fighter compliment assignments.
Still need to do the final math, and balancing, but currently it's 9 in Republic fighter squadrons, 4/5 (Not decided) in bomber squadrons for the Republic. 14 Vulture Droids, 7 Tri-Fighters (Their missiles are incredibly powerful in masses), and bomber squadrrons are likely to be similar to the Republic.
Though I'm not fond of having 30 different fighter squadrons out (So squadrons might increase in size), and I'm experimenting to see if it's a major cause of fps drops.
