In 2011 I started browsing the latest graphical/sound quake mods, putting together a pretty build using LordHavoc's darkplaces, rygel's ultra textures packs, the reforged packs and a variety of mods, to play quake original. Anyone can do the same, however the hassle comes when you have to browse the quakeone forums, stumbling to find the posts which detail what cvars and what configs/files you have to overwrite etc in order to get each mod to work. I literally spent as much time getting the mods working as playing the game. So I put together a nice-looking build of quake original and it's expansions called epsilon for everybody to get into, without getting into the hassle of config files and searching to find every available mod then getting them to work! The main quake build also includes the original shareware first quarter of the quake game - it is easily upgraded to the full game by dropping in the pak0.pak and pak1.pak files from the full game's id1 directory (more details below).

Not really related to either Quake or Epsilon, but I figure there's a large enough crossover of Quake fans who're also Doom fans that this is relevant...
Soundtrack work. Work in progress. Don't know when anything will be finished - if it will be finished. Don't hold your breath.
Firstly, the patch that's going up today should fix issues some Win10 users have experienced with launching Epsilon expansions or Arcane Dimensions. Secondly...

Yes, it's included in the game, but also now, the lossless versions of all of the 72 tracks are on bandcamp. Enjoy.

Most of the 'songs' or ideas ended up being a combination of a couple of things - synths and drums.
It all started because I was having problems sleeping on friday & saturday nights, due to the noise caused by boy racers.
This is just to say that, yes, Arcane Dimensions is being worked on.
No sorry, not another mod/expansion release, this time. But several people have been bugging me about getting a full version of the soundtrack online...
Well, it's that time of year again and 2016 being what it was, I was feeling the need to shoot something.
