Project HDTP is a High Definition Texture Package for the original Deus Ex game. The original in-game textures were of a very low resolution, some textures even being as low as 32x32. However, it was discovered that it is possible to increase the resolution of those textures to a maximum of 256. This has been tested in-game and we have witnessed the start of a massive graphical overhaul. Features: 1. All new remodelled and retextured Objects. 2. Objects will sport a high resolution of 256. 3. Brand new character models and matching high resolution skins. 4. Character models are more individual. For example each guard/trooper type will now have its own model instead of using the generic one. 5. Character models now have their own fingers (removing the 'mittens' effect). 6. Models that require animation will be full animated from scratch to compliment the higher quality feel. 7. Characters look darker and more moody to enhance the game play experience. 8. It's been a long time coming but I'm proud to announce that our JC Denton model and skin are now complete!
We are really thrilled with the quality and attention to detail on this so well done Phasmatis (modeler) and Alex (Character skinner) for producing this amazing effort! Click the image above to see a larger (and clearer - damn those 15k image size limits) image of JC in all his HDTP glory. Weve also created all the various different race types for JC too!
Why it's the MJ12 troop of course! Part of our trooper pack that we'll be releasing in our next download! [You should see them scramble about with our uber cool HDTP weapons!!! (weapons which change depending on what weapon mod you've installed - no less)].

Fantastic work, everytime I replay deus ex the only thing that ever seems sub-standard are the graphics, looks like you guys are going to sort that out for us very nicely.
JC model kicks ass, the face skin on the other one doesn't - looks like he used pink lipstick on his lips then a glossy one all over his face.
Not sure what *you're* looking at Switch, but the image can be reached by clicking the link in the newpost, not by trawling transvestite porn.
I'm not entirely in agreement with Switch, but there *is* something a little off with the MJ12 Trooper. JC has never looked better though. This is a good take on the character. Keep it up!
This is awesome, I look forward to watching this, I am a very large Deus Ex fan, I loved Deus Ex 1 and 2, still havnt beat Deus Ex 1 yet

the problem of the MJ12 trooper is that his top lip and the bits between his nose and lips are over highlighted and wierdly shaded (no offence meant still a good peice of texture work) but atm it looks like he's pouting with a hair lip.
