This is a TSLRCM-required mod that allows the player to recruit both the Handmaiden and Disciple in the same playthrough, regardless of gender. It also fixes any gender-specific dialogue when it involves those two characters. It adds an item to the inventory when you pick up the Disciple, which allows you to 'swap' the Handmaiden in and out of the party, when available.

PartySwap 1.3.1 fixes a few bugs with the previous release, as well as ensures compatibility with the newest version of TSLRCM (1.8.5)!

All you need to do is uninstall the previous version - though why you'd have it installed right now is beyond my understanding - and follow the instructions provided in the readme. Hint: the instructions for installation are still the same, pretty much.

Sorry this update took so long, folks. I was having pretty nasty troubles with the final dialog file a while back, stepped away for what should have been a week, maybe two. It turned out to be way longer than I would have liked. So, I just decided to soldier through it tonight and get everything finished, since this was the only file left to update. All it took was two hours of work, if that. It's amazing what stepping away and coming back fresh will do for ya!

I've also decided to post the change log for the mod on the file page, if you're wondering what's been added/fixed.

Hi , I really wanted to try this mod out, especially since its confirmed that both went with the exile in terms of legends canon. However, I also have installed extended enclave and I would like to know if a compatibility patch has been made yet.

It has not. I'm being patient on that subject, because essentially it'll mean re-modding a modded mod. It needs care, precision, and consistency. Especially that endgame dialog. But it is in the pipeline. I had no idea how many people used EE.

Out of curiosity, have you considered uploading this mod to the steam workshop? (Or perhaps entrusting someone, perhaps from the RCM team, to upload the mod for you?)

I won't be uploading it to the Steam Workshop because of compatibility conflicts. If this mod isn't installed to the RCM Steam Workshop folder(which all mods have to be in order to work with RCM in the first place), then it will conflict heavily with it. And putting it on the Steam Workshop wouldn't allow it to merge with the necessary files from RCM in order to work properly, considering it would just install to its own Workshop folder.

Is it possible to run this without TSLRCM? I haven't played 2 in a long time, and i don't want to use that mod, because (without really knowing all the content it readds) i'm afraid that i might feel it restored things that wasn't intended to be restored.

No, not the way the installer is setup. The game would crash at some point after leaving Peragus. Besides, why on earth wouldn't you use TSLRCM? It's praised by Chris Avellone, Lead Designer of TSL, as an essential way to play the game, that none of the content restored in it was ever meant to be cut.

Sorry about this everyone, but the website won't let me update the file to the newest version like I've been doing since the mod's first release here on ModDB. I won't be back any time soon until I have an update that ModDB will accept.

It should. It won't have German text in it, but all text edits are made in the TLK file, which is the home of localization in KotOR/TSL.
