This is a TSLRCM-required mod that allows the player to recruit both the Handmaiden and Disciple in the same playthrough, regardless of gender. It also fixes any gender-specific dialogue when it involves those two characters. It adds an item to the inventory when you pick up the Disciple, which allows you to 'swap' the Handmaiden in and out of the party, when available.

Help, the cutscene where Handmaiden appears on the Ebon Hawk after you leave the Telos Academy is not playing for female PCs, thus rendering her unrecruitable.
First, I would like to know what other mods you're using. Second, check your override for holorec.dlg. If it's there, delete it.
In the time it took for you to reply to this comment, two things have happened. One: I decided to use the DS version of TSLRCM instead of the Steam version I had been using prior. That cleared up the issue real quick. Two: KOTOR 2 came out on the Switch, with the Restored Content DLC coming later. I plan to take any future playthroughs of KOTOR 2 on that platform, so there is no intervention required on your part.
I've installed the mod in the steam workshop RCM folder, as some suggested, however the mod seems to not function whatsoever. I have loaded all my saves and in none of them do I have the partyswap item. The installer said that it installed properly, but nothing in-game has changed
It requires a save from before you enter the Polar Academy on Telos. It doesn't just give you the item until you recruit Disciple.
I'm assuming this mod doesn't work if you install it after you already recruited the disciple and left the handmaiden behind? I installed it but didn't get the party swap item =(
Correct - you need a save from before you recruit either of them.
Do they both appear on the Ebon Hawk at the same time? And Can you just swap out Disciple with Handmaiden, and not use him at all? I find Disciple rather annoying but like to run as close to Canon as possible.
You can swap anyone in the active party with Handmaiden, as long as she's selectable and party selection is available.
I recently did a playthrough with this mod on a male LS character. All in all, I had a good time, except for one major problem. During the part where Visas talks to you on the Ebon Hawk saying 'Something is troubling you, I can feel it' and you 'look upon each other' at the end, the game leaves me stuck on the Hawk with no way to progress and an annoying musical loop playing throughout. The scene where the Disciple warns Telos never triggers, we never end up at the Academy, essentially, all story progress is halted. Can you suggest a fix to this problem?
