The NCR are the New Californian Republic and their objective is to civilize the world by bringing the rule of law to the ruin and decay of the wasteland. Stamping down an NCR boot on everything and claiming it as their own in the process. Following them is civilization, laws, order, voting, Democracy, Industry and all the trappings of a civilized world. But this is not what everybody wants, some folk fight the NCR, prefering the chaos of the existing world, some folk want to hang on to what they have and know the NCR will take it from them given the chance. Others embrace the NCR seeing it as the only way out of the post apocolyptic world.
The NCR Mod allows those who Embraced the NCR to join them officially and even sign up for the NCR military.

The NCR mod was originally made as a private mod for me and my users over at the Engineering Guild. TEG is gone now, a victim of bad hosting, hackers and trolls. The mods where originally left online for you all but after hackers uploaded a virus to the mothballed TEG, I decided it best to delete everything and play it safe.
Since then, people have been asking me for specific mods, The NCR being one of them. So I am making an effort to upload requested mods to MODDB so they will remain available for you all.
Remember your characters skills unlock the units, the missions you do unlock the ranks.

I was curious as to the other ways to get your citizenship papers? I figured the NCR Embassy on the Strip but couldn't find an NPC. I have accepted status from starting as a Trooper from alternate start mod, but I need the papers to "officially" join.
I have an issue. I am doing the mission for the Elite Rangers where I have to defend the Legion attack on camp Golf. Either when I am starting the mission (when i walk up to the flagpole, or when the last Legionnaire dies, the game just freezes.
Ok so I managed to complete that mission, and a few more by simply retrying after each crash. My next question, is how do I advance to the next rank? I have now completed 3-4 missions, but I am still a private (PVT/PV2)
how do i download it?
I think this mod ***** the reputations with factions that the ncr doesnt like, I have a good rep with the khans and the mark of Caesar but both of them attack me, I cant even do some quest for Caesar because he will instantly attack me on sight...
I fixed the problem. The mod literally makes you part of the ncr faction, i think that happens after you become a citizen. fixed with commands.

1 Heavy Trooper Patrol
3 Ranger Battles
1 Desert Ranger Patrol
