You actually CAN play it on Vanilla Supreme Commander (not Forged Alliance installed) but the ACU appears to react to commands, but it can't built anything. When cheating the units using console commands, some units textures work. Others will appear with A HUGE texture fail, making them red. The whole craft. They actually are ALL able to shoot.
The units themselves are not bad! But the Tech 2 and Tech 3 ships could have a higher armor and especially stronger action against ground units!
My idea: These ships are ultra strong orbital experimental units against which even the normal experimental units have hardly oppose something! For this, the orbital vessels are extremely expensive and require a long construction time!
Accordingly, should be more resistant to enemy fire and may even have their own air defenses or land defenses the shipyards!

I found the 0.36 version more fun since the units are actually ORBITAL...Not another typical air unit.
