The game takes place in the eve of the Seven Hour War. Fighting against blood shedding synths and frightening aliens, Adrian Shephard has to struggle his way with his fellow comrades from the Phoenix Command, with the main objective of stopping the construction of a Combine Citadel. In his journey he will find what has happened to the world, moments before the Seven Hour War.

They are all 3D my friend.
Valve balanced performance with visuals. Just because your computer can handle dozens of 3D trees doesn't mean everyone's can.
Anyway, this screenshot looks awesome. The fog and style of the forest remind me of Left 4 Dead, which is certainly not a bad thing.
Finally, a Source game where the most advanced vehicle you can pilot isn't a gutted Dodge Charger :D
I know that pee'd me off, like I was expecting some cool stuff to drive in HL2 and there was a buggy and airboat, they go like 100MPH and handle like crap!
When we release the mod, I'm pretty sure everyone'll be able to handle dozens of 3D trees, and yes. You are completely right about the vehicle comment haha.

THIS SCREEN IS EPIC! AMAZING! Not only the scene, which corrisponds with the lighting PERFECTLY, but also the tank looks genious, I love the headlights, and the mud flying from the wheels looks great! I would be amazed just to even ride in this thing! But to be able to drive, take the morter, and ride at the same time? GENIOUS! You have some extremely talented lua coders, plus the people being animated and stuff. I just hope this mod doesn't use cheap voice acting with terrible accents like in the citizen XD But I'm sure we won't have to worry about that.

I cant tell from the screenshot, but is this modeled after a real-world APC?
It looks fantastic I love it reminds me of the apc from mgs4 but Im guessing that its not all invulnerable something so powerful has to have a weakness maybe an enemy strong enough to knock it over like the gargantuan?
