Not enough Stahlhelm. :P
Though, that artillery piece look like it might have issues with scattered infantry groups.

Cool, although I do think that the helmet could look better, it looks odd in my opinion.

No. I would have added a jumpjet ability, but that's not possible in ZH

there is a work around, but its not perfect.
Ask the contra team about their cyborg commando.

IIRC, SWR was making use of jump-jet units, they are seen in a video teaser released for the venom protocol of the ECA faction, perhaps The_Hunter may be of some assistance, as I would put my money on that he would help you do it, unlike the Contra team whom tend to keep advances in SAGE's secrets to them selves with extreme prejudice

1. Please stop the Contra hate. What you say is simply not true, they are not like that.

2. In both mods the named unit switches between walking and flying (iirc), which is not what I want. What I was talking about was an ability like the Zone troopers in CnC3 have.

i vaguely remember their ability, but is it where they simply "moon-jump" from point A to point B??? if so that in itself would be pretty cool! since the tomahawk/SCUD are objects and not particle animations, couldnt you mimic their launch and contact animations for the ability? im not a dev just a mapper so if that sounds dumb i totally understand

It's not possible to move a unit, with one button click. You could have it fire itself as a projectile and remove the original unit, but that wouldn't keep selection, grouping or veterancy.

Again, speak with The_Hunter about this. The contra team's old spider mech was able to teleport using that method and retain everything, including it's drone.

Reminds me a lot of the zone troopers from C&C 3 tiberium wars, very nice model and I look forward to using them.

Thanks.

It is actually based on the Zone Trooper model, and uses the same animations.

Very good idea, that'll save time and effort and it looks great. I do like the idea of a proper helmet instead of that suit where it was more of a dome over the head. Also those pauldrons look straight out of Warhammer 40,000.

If they were straight out of WH40K then they would cover the upper arms

I'm not sure if they would survive that. And there are definetly better options to kill 50 angry mods ;)

While i do like the name of these soldiers and how powerful they are, i suggest you use them for heavy anti infantry.
