Obsidian Conflict is a cooperative multiplayer modification set in the Half-Life 2 universe. It features a large amount of new gameplay features on all-new maps specially designed for the mod with focus on cooperative gameplay, as well as over hundred user-made maps following the same formula. In addition to that, You're able to play through vanilla Half-Life 2 all the way up to Episode 2, as well as experimental support for cooperative Half-Life: Source play.

The mod is far from dead, we just took another break to get back to the real world for awhile.

Now that we are back we are proud to announce acouple new features. One of which is the script map editing.
You will now be able to edit maps with a small txt file .

For example.

Entities
{
Add
{
"env_fire"
{
"health" "30"
"firesize" "64"
"fireattack" "4"
"ignitionpoint" "32"
"damagescale" "1.0"
"targetname" "lawlfire1"
"spawnflags" "13"
"origin" "-192 296 9"
}

}
}

Will add a new fire ent to the map with the keyvalues below. You can also use commands such as remove and modify.

Obsidian will also feature custom sound scripts for maps so you, the mapper, will be able to change the default flashlight sounds, weapon sounds, and anything you wish. You will also be able to add your own sounds.

I am currently working on a fix for the screenshot albums on the site. Once that is finished I will add new screenshots. I would also like to add some new video clips of the mod in action, that will also happen soon.
