Time for another images update! Ive transformed one of my recently pictured areas into a multi-level power center. I have 3 shots of the Plasma Transformers and the general area they are in. Obviously, you cant see it in the screens, but the lighting thrown off of the Plasma Transformers pulsates gently with a nice low hum.
Also pictured are 3 shots of a concept for a shopping mall-type commons area. I've already posted these in the news, but they also deserve a spot in the images section as Ive decided to use the basic design in future mapping endeavors.

But on this (and others) the metalfloor looks like plastic. It is metal right? I think normal+specular maps should be done/tweaked.

Normal maps are added. Cubemaps are using $normalmapenvmapmask which seems to do the job. There will still be many textures that arent shiny/bumpmapped as I work, but it will all be there in the end :)
Specular always seems to make the floor look like tile or smooth stone.
