I loggeg almost as many hours in the SDK this year as I did at work!
1201 divided by twenty four.
Fifty days lost to source, grats.
Pfft, ntohing!:p
Go look @ Mxthe, though that may be borderline obsession. :P
Source SDK
94.4 hrs / 5772.4 hrs
At the start of the year he had like 1200 hours. :P
94.4 hrs in one week is almost 14 hours a day average :O
No way could I do that. I have a full time job, 2 kids and a wife. (and a dog)
Exactly. He lives in his mod world. Hence why I said obsession.
I am personal friends with mxthe and i can tell you her does nothing but source engine lol, he has ******* dedication, maybe a obsession too but he is making a ******* awesome mod!
Its quite alot of time to spend on a (free) mod especially when ppl have Family/work/school too. The only negative thing would be to do all that work and then just abandon the mod..
THERE IS NO ABANDON!
Wouw my time is around "600 hours." i find that quit a bunch already.
Your quite determined :>
Out of curiosity, I checked and I have 1500 hours :O
Of course, You seem to be making better use of your hours, based off of the nice stuff coming out recently.
my time;
Source SDK
26.5 hrs / 2225.7 hrs
but, i know there are people who leave there Hammer open for days on end without mapping at all, just to get the high numbers of hours. what is ofcourse to silly to even mention here, but, it does happen!
still, there are a lot of great modders that really do put in these hours, good large mods simply do need those hours to be made, something that is easily forgotten by some of the players and that is a shame.

Oh theres been time when I went ate dinner or put a movie on in the living room and left Hammer open...But theres also lots of time I spend outside of Hammer modelling, drawing layouts and concepts, doing texture art, etc, so I figure Ive probably actually spent more time than that developing, even with the time Hammer sat idle. Then theres the time I spend on my laptop offline, while sitting on jobsites waiting for things to happen :)
