This mod aims to recreate the atmosphere of the period of the War of the Grand Alliance, also known as the Nine Years War. The mod will reflect the transition from matchlock to flintlock and from pike to bayonet. There will be a new faction (the Cossack Hetmanate and the Jacobites). The mod will incorporate some units of the Hetmanate TW mod with some changes to reflect the late 17th century.

Description
Venetian cavalry tended to be better armoured than other nations at this time. Helmets were available but not always worne. These are cuirassiers with helmets. However the cavalry played a small role in the Republic's army - perhaps 15%. There were 2 Cuirassier regiments, one with red facings and the other blue.
