No one can recall quite how it happened, but at some point there was another world war and after the bombs fell, the Earth was left in ruins. The former Yugoslavian republic of Serbia suffered massive devastation to it's land, but the great capital of Belgrade although damaged severely, had survived the conflict...
As I mentioned previously awhile ago, I wanted to produce alternative textures for each house to avoid too much repetition. Primarily houses in Serbia have an orange thatched roof and decorative white plaster but there are sometimes individual houses which are coloured differently and this is such an example.
I am hoping to put together some content for a Christmas media release, which should include some early work on the industrial zone. This is of course subject to change depending on how much time I get to work on it all, but I'll have something for you all to see at least!
In the meantime, please vote for the mod for MOTY 2012 if you think I'm worthy! I don't expect to win anything but it should at least gain some more interest by people and maybe increase the popularity!
I like how the textures fit with each other.
That's d3adlode at his finest!

Looks really awesome indeed. I'm just worried of how long it would take you to make a let's say 3 hour long campaign if you keep making this quality. I mean, how long did it take you to make a house? First picture you showed of this house was in May.
If it takes you 7 months to make a house (lol probably more like 3 months), yeah let's say 3 months, how long will it take for you to make a level containing let's say 30 houses? 90 months, that's 7,5 years. A level with 30 houses.
Get my point? It's great you are making high quality stuff, but my advice is to keep it realistic to the amount of time you can spend.
Well there will be 8 different houses with 2 different texture variants for each one making 16 different combinations in total. 30 different houses? LOL If you look at all modern games, there are several different house variations and then they are 'cloned', it would be insane to make every single house individually made, which is why I opted for this method. I mean in CoF, aren't those houses cloned several times? Also my houses all have an interior the player can just walk into at any time, so everything's gotta match up.
The house that has taken the longest is the severely damaged one, simply because it's so complex and I had problems making the damage match up properly! I have another less damaged one to do as well, but that shouldn't be as much work...
I've also been working on other things I haven't shown as well as the houses, I mean I can't show you everything, need to keep things under the lid, y'know? ;)
I know what I'm doing, worry not sir :P
Damn stupid 5 minute edit limit!
When I've got the houses done, I'll just use them for all four villages, that have different layouts. I'll make various interiors with different decoration and furniture and some unique props relative to each village like welcome signs etc.
But still consider your time and the time frame you want to spend to finish the mod. A mod should not take longer than 2 years to make. Cof took 4 years only because its so ******* massive with complex cutscenes
I think 2 years is a realistic deadline for some projects but not all, I certainly produce things a lot slower than you do.. I only wish I could work as fast as you! Anyway, mods always start off slow, then they pick up eventually.. I certainly have a lot more stuff done now than I ever did for TF!
Cool.
Well, that is kickarse. Keep it unique!
Wow very nice. Keep good work =)
I can hear a Bloodsucker that is eating a bandid in there ^^
Looking good! :)
Looks great!
