T3-b Assault Tank [WIP] image - Star Wars: New Order mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Mod covers the period of the Galactic Empire and Imperial Remnant. It is focused on improving gameplay, adds lots of unique heroes, new scenarios and game modes.

At last we get our hands on T-3b.
As you can see, it's based on the T-1b model made by First Strike mod team. Torpedo launcher is made from T-1b rocket launcher. The main guns and tracks are from vanilla model of MZ-8 pulse cannon from SW:FoC. The tracks are not canon-looking, but Sudno just wanted something that does not look stupid (and, by the way, MZ-8 chassis was retconned to be produced by T-1b/T-3b manufacturer, so why not?). The turret is made from scratch. Both the turret and track covers are textured by our team members.
The model is still in progress (we are finishing textures and gun breeches).

Looks good guys. I like how it seems sturdy and a bit more like a functional tank - other versions I have seen have a narrower front profile, making them seem much flimsier. This in turn leads mod-devs to either make the T-3b flimsier to match the visual, or run the risk of creating a competent vehicle that is deceptively stronger than it appears. This model seems much more competent and able to tackle things - a more fitting representation of the tanks actual abilities.
Yeah, It was the main goal all along. To make a real Heavy tank, that can step before an AT-AT and say "You shall not pass!".

The beam connector under the main hull could be made to merge better. Right now it looks like they just placed a T1B speeder over a track without even trying to stick it through welding or whatever.
It's a WIP version of this vehicle, so some details (including connector) will be redesigned or changed in the final version.
