I finally got the screenshot of the Flying Dutchman that others have attempted and failed to get. ;) Check out this amazing shot. I had to sit through a lot of storms to get it. lol
ohhh damn.. That is totally AWESOME!! seriously you couldn't tell that this is just the Storm engine from 2004.. This is just beautiful, really who modelled this thing?
This particular model was made by ZarethPL.
And yes, this is from the 8 year old "Pirates of the Caribbean", which is in its 14th Mod and 5th Patch. Patch 6 should be coming out very soon.

Nope. Age of Pirates 1 came out in 2006, three years after this game.
I tried for hours and hours to get a shot like that, and never did.

My, my... What kind of dumb would deny it? This is ABSOLUTELY Awesome, I need to try the next patch, provided this excellent version of the Dutchman is included. Or perhaps even if it's not, I love this game mods, my most heartly thanks-giving to all of you, me mates, XDDD
As far as I know that version of the Flying Dutchman has been in the game for well over a year.

Very true. I don't remember how long the Flying Dutchman has been in the modpack, but it's indeed been quite a while. No work has been done on her model or texture recently. So if you have any Build 14 Beta 1 release, you've already got this model. Still, a good model for sure and this screenshot really does her justice.
I'm hoping to see the Queen Anne's Revenge from the 4th movie in the game. It's still a while till I'll be able to model a ship. I hope one of our lost modelers will take up the task. I know a lot of people would like to see that ship in the game.

What I also like is that it shows how realistic the game's lightning effects are- you normally blink and miss it when playing!
I took about 500 shots to get that ONE. haha
