This is a total conversion of Sins of a Solar Empire. five new playble races will be introduced each with differing play styles and apearances. The focus of this mod will be small and large scale fleet stratagy and empire building.

It really doesn't matter what rendering engine you use, because it is not carried over to sins.
the only way to make it carry over would be to use render-to-texture with 3ds max (or another program that has it,, but i don't know of any that do)

also, i would love to texture this thing if you could send it to me.

I can post it on the team page, you need unwrap of it or just the model?

Also bake ambient occlusion on it? Maybe try some normal mapping if sins supports it?

oh yes can of worms in order to make it look like this i had to run it through some programs that seriously do not like triangular edges so in the future send me a quad model so i can edit it. Since when you send me the model i get a weird almost blobby image.

yes, sins supports normal mapping.

I can bake a render on but that would look stupid. No I'm just wondering what they think looks best for future renders
