This is a total conversion of Sins of a Solar Empire. five new playble races will be introduced each with differing play styles and apearances. The focus of this mod will be small and large scale fleet stratagy and empire building.

(new design concept)
The Bellator Cruiser is the most advanced ship the Eldar have constructed since the war. Constructed from the tatters of knowledge the survivors have managed to scrap together, the Bellator is a ship whose main strength comes from it's devastating weapons. Utilizing the Eldar's unique drive core the ship can jump right on top it potential victim or victims and annihilate them with supreme Eldar fire power, then retreat back into FTL before anyone has a chance to react.
The Eldar specialize in a tactic similar to the Vasari research that allows them to jump from inside a gravity well, the Eldar have this on all ships from the start of the game and allows them to enter FTL from anywhere within a star well. They may also be able to make mini jumps as well allowing them to become seriously dangerous hit and runners but this may be removed before release.
This would work if you 1. Made it a bit of time before a ship could fire after it locked on (for other races) and made there ships like paper when under heavy fire.
intended to do both of those things but its good to see others think the same way.
Awesome makes hit and run warps in viable. I know a book where humans do that but cant remember its name
