Near Conflict mod for C&C3: Tiberium Wars

Have you ever wanted to command a realistic army that will exist in the very near future? In this mod, we will be using weapons and vehicles that will join our troops on the battlefield in a few years.

Near Conflict takes place in 2010 in the country of Iraq. Since the war "Iraqi Freedom" began, scientists have been working on new technologies to help our soldiers in the battlefield. You, as a commander, will be able to take control of many different soldiers with new weapon systems and vehicles that will take strategy to use at full effect.

During 2005 to 2007, the war's pace seemed to really slow down because of the one sided advantage the U.S. army has against the al-Quada in Iraq. The war seemed to be getting closer to an end in 2009 when the al-Quada had stopped all of the bombings and failed to show any real threat to the world.

Just as it seemed over, something happened that the U.S. did not see coming. In 2010, the U.S. army was deliberately attacked by the North Korean army. All hell has broken loose for the U.S. as they try to recover from the surprised attack. The North Korean army is threatening the United Nations with an uncertain number of nuclear missiles. With this threat, the U.S. and with the help of the U.N., is bringing the war back to the North Koreans.
